Mapping Your Policy Territory – insights from a former special adviser turned research director
In this session, Dewi Knight (Director, PolicyWISE) will provide a pan-UK perspective on building your policy engagement bridge. Dewi will share lessons on how to get ready to engage with policy, drawing on his time as a specialist policy adviser in government and now as a Director of a UK and Ireland comparative policy research initiative.
You will learn about practical tools that can help you develop your own policy engagement and enhance your ability to extend the impact of your research by thinking comparatively, cross-nation and cross-discipline.
