The interface between policy and academic research can be complex and difficult to navigate. You want your research to shape Welsh policy and discourse, but maybe you’re not sure where to start. This session will:
· Explain the Welsh policy landscape, and how the different parts work together;
· Show you why you should be engaging with the Senedd, including successful examples of engagement and its impact;
· Help you negotiate the two worlds, and understand the opportunities to engage;
· Offer practical tips on how to get your research heard, and provide an overview of the Senedd’s Areas of Research Interest.
Following lunch, there will be a chance to sit in on a Senedd Committee evidence session.
10:30am - 12:30, including lunch. Senedd tour 12:45. Option to watch a Senedd Committee from the public gallery from 13:30pm
