The course will explore how research, innovation, and other knowledge exchange activities undertaken by staff contribute to the University’s performance; and how they generate funding and further support for KE opportunities. It will focus on the importance of how your activity data is identified, and if reported can drive university performance in national league tables and how data can highlight underreported areas which could improve funding.

Learning Outcomes:

- Staff will develop an understanding of how their research, innovation, and KE activities help drive university performance, raise SU research profile and create further KE income to provide you further internal funding opportunities & support.

- Staff will develop an understanding of the importance of data and how this data is reported and used by the University and its funders
