This is our first ever Philosophy at the Cinema event. We will be showing and discussing the film Strange Days. This event is part of the Philosophy Research Group's series of public events looking at the theme of philosophy and technology. Leighton Evans, a philosopher and lecturer in media theory at Swansea University will introduce the film, then run a discussion with the audience about the philosophical themes it brings up. This event has been funded by the Royal Institute of Philosophy. Tickets are free and we look forward to philosophising together.
